THANKS!!!!!

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the wonderful birthday wishes. As much as I love my adopted home I do get a little home sick sometimes.

And Rubber Nun got me thinkin'. I really should make this year, my Jesus year, one of self improvement. So here are my goals for my 33rd year on this earth:

1. move towards a new vocation (fingers crossed on the TAFE thing)
2. 'work' less, make more money (I am trying to make more money by doing things that I love, therefore they don't seem so much like work)
3. see more than 4 films in the theater. I had only seen two of the Ocsar nominees this year, sad.
4. knit a whole sweater (a jumper for the Aussies) I will cut myself some slack if it isn't done my this time next year, but I would like to have at least one on the needles.

that seems like a reasonable list.

I don't normally like to say 'look how cool I am'. But just this once I'm going to make an exception. Anyway, I got interviewed by Sharon Aris for her book 'It's My Party and I'll Knit if I Want To' . And she actually used me. Wow. I feel a little like a rock star. But the COOLEST part of the whole thing is that in the back she has a list of people she thanks. And guess what? I'm on the same thank you page as Kelley friggin' Deal!!!! WHoo-hoo. Me and a Breeder getting the same thanks. I'm feelin' pretty rock and roll about it.
